As Miss Indian USA, Chenoa lived in Washington, DC and interned at the
AIHF.
Appearance highlights include attending American Indian hearings on Capitol Hill, meeting with Wayne Newton during American Indian Heritage Month, traveling to Bermuda with her family for vacation, and celebrating her 21st Birthday in the United States Capitol.
After relinquishing her title she remained in Washington, DC to serve
as the first American Indian woman to intern in the White House. She holds a Degree in University Studies from the University of New Mexico and is currently completing her PHD.
